In 2013, we participated in the construction of a house
in Urubamba with a group of young French people.
Workcamps
Since 2011, we are involved in solidarity projects in order to help the local population to flourish.
In 2012, with a group of 11 people from France, we built a crèche to improve the living conditions of a community. Then, little by little, we developed new projects benefiting communities, neighborhoods or families.
In total, we have supported 6 de Casas projects by providing financial, material and human assistance.
We are always looking for social or tourism projects that contribute to the development and the well-being of Peruvian families. It is the essence of Casas Del Perú to support these solidarity projectsand this through Peru.
Accompanying the communities
In some communities, it is a matter of helping and accompanying the inhabitants to reach the tourism standards. To do this, we go out into the field to train families on the expectations of tourists. These trainings These changes will concern the equipment, the decoration, or the ways of answering the tourists' requests. We believe it is important to assist the inhabitants of the communities because sometimes, being geographically distant, they do not have the adequate information to receive the tourists in the best conditions.
In parallel, we also provide the promotion of the destinations and accommodations we support.
Organization of the World Day for Responsible Tourism in Peru
For 5 years now, we have been organizing the World Day for Responsible Tourism in Peru. Each year, tourism themes are addressed to sensitize and federate the actors of tourism, sustainable tourism and institutions to the problems posed by the activity in the country.
We make sure to organize the event in a different city each year and invite speakers from various fields, closely or distantly related to tourism.
This day is for us the opportunity to gather Peruvian responsible tourism professionals in order to share our ideas on the current issues of tourism, at the local and national level.
Solidarissimo fair of solidarity tourism
Since 2016, we have been participating in the Solidarissimo Fair in Colmar, which brings together a group of solidarity tourism professionals. Through this fair, real synergies can be cultivated between people with equivalent objectives around the world.
