Day 1 / Destination origin - Lima - CDH

Welcome at Lima airport by your private driver. They will escort you to your guesthouse in the trendy Miraflores neighborhood.

Overnight at a hotel in Miraflores.

Day 2 / Gastronomic Lima

What better way to start your stay than by discovering Peruvian flavors? Recognized worldwide for its creativity and the variety of ingredients it uses, every day a little more is talked about Peruvian gastronomy.

Accompanied by your guide, this tour will be 4 hours, offering you the opportunity to try some of the most traditional local specialties among a variety of restaurants and small local shops, while discovering the colonial district of Barranco!

During this experience you will visit a pier or artisan pier, also local markets where you will taste different flavors of fruits, you will also learn about different products that are produced in the different regions of Peru.

Your guide will immerse you in Peruvian history and culture, as you will see, each bite has a story to tell.

After discovering flavors, smells, textures, they will go to a recognized restaurant to prepare their own dishes at the chef's recommendation.

At lunch you will taste its exquisite preparation.

Once finished, you can stroll through the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, or if you prefer to return to your accommodation.

Day 3 / Lima- Palpa

At 5:00 a.m., your driver picks you up to transfer you to the bus station, which will head to the town of Palpa, where you will discover a valley full of history and local products to taste.

Once you reach your destination, you will take the orange route.

  • Fundo Santo Domingo Manatial La Máquina:

You will discover orange cultivation, corn cultivation and the worm humus production sector.

At lunch you will taste smoked pork or chicken with a glass of orange juice.

Duration: approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

 

Free time to cool off in the waters of the La Máquina spring.

Day 4 / Palpa – Nasca lines departing from Camaná

Discover the Llipata Geoglyphs Route:

Here we can appreciate an interesting cultural landscape composed of a set of geoglyphs located in the Llipata region.

Geoglyphs located in the district of Llipata, witnesses of a millenary past and the presence of the Paracas, Topara and Nasca cultures, among which we can appreciate:

  • Geoglyph of the Shrine of the Ocular Being
  • Orca Geoglyph
  • Twin Geoglyph
  • Geoglyph of the Shaman and his allies
  • Geoglyphs of desert animals

Duration: approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., we head towards Nasca to visit the towers to observe the Nasca lines.

Here you will taste one of the Peruvian specialties par excellence, grilled chicken.

1:30 p.m.: Your driver will transfer you to the bus terminal to start your trip to the city of Camaná (at 2:30 p.m.), an approximate trip of 6.5 hours in a bus with total comfort. During the tour you will follow the coast and then cross valleys irrigated by the rivers that descend from the mountains.

10:00 p.m.: Arrival at the town of Camaná, where your driver is waiting for you.

Day 5 / Visit to the town of Camaná, discovery of Pisco and rice cultivation.

08h00: After breakfast, the tour begins in the Plaza de Armas of Camaná. Then we will visit Ladheza, a typical neighborhood of Camaná, where we will be able to visit one of its inhabitants, Lucho, who with a lot of feeling, sacrifice and effort formed a dance group, he is also a composer and author of songs for the Camaná region. In addition to all this, he contributed to craftsmanship by creating various items from plants and natural elements of the region, we can make a craft workshop with him.

10:00 We will pass through different small fishing places and small beaches on the Peruvian coast, if you want you can swim, the most important place to visit is the cove of Honoratos and Quilca and its small port, its main activity being fishing.

We will also be able to observe different beaches and the nature of the Pacific coast. Swimming here will be a possibility.

12h00 : Lunch of fresh seafood and fish from the Peruvian coast.

14h00 : Museum of the Immaculate Conception - We will visit the Museum of the Immaculate Conception where we will appreciate important pieces that have been preserved over the years; these pre-Hispanic pieces belong to different pre-Hispanic and Inca cultures such as the Nazca, Wari, Chuquibamba, Churajon cultures that inhabited this province or this part of the Camaná coast.

3h00 : Visit to the pisco winery, we will learn about the types of grapes that are produced in the region of Camaná, we will also see the techniques that are still used for its distillation.

At the end we will taste the Pisco produced in the Camaná region.

Camaná is the most important supplier of rice to Peruvian consumers, so we will visit the rice mill to learn a little about this quality product which is currently distributed throughout Peru, Camaná rice has a great reputation. We will learn about the techniques of cultivating, sowing and peeling rice.

17h00, return to your accommodation.

Day 6 / Crab Route between Camaná Majes

After a restorative breakfast, we get ready to start the trip.

07h00: We say goodbye to Camaná and head to the district of Majes, along the road that borders the Majes Camaná river. Here we will see different farms where rice and other products are grown.

07h50: We will arrive at the town of Sonay, the first stop on the route to observe the valley of the Camaná River. Continuing with our stay we will arrive at the town of Socso where there will be interesting cave figures among the mountains such as the face of Jesus, as well as the chasquis (messengers from the Inca era) and the face of the Virgin Mary.

09h00: We arrive at Punta Colorada where we will have a magnificent view of the Majes River Valley. Once located in Majes we will take a walk to see its attractions such as the Dead Bull, the largest petroglyph center in the world, as well as the Pacocha store, we will go to Corire Square and see the village church.

12h00: Lunch in the Majes Valley, you will be offered different specialties based on crabs from the Majes River.

1:30 p.m.: We will head to Querullpa, where we will explore the most important dinosaur footprint center in the Arequipa region.

15h00: Wewill swim at the Chancharay recreational center. To end the day, we will visit the wineries of the Majes Valley, such as Cepas de Loro, Reynoso and others that are available. Here we will have the opportunity to learn more about the production of pisco and local wine, as well as enjoy a snack. If you wish, you can also purchase products to take with you.

18:00: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

House:
Day 7 / Majes - Cotahuasi – Taurisma – Alca – Cahuana – Luicho

08:00: After breakfast, the transport will pick you up at your hotel to start the trip to the Cotahuasi Canyon.

1:00 p.m.: Arrival in Cotahuasi (2,683 m.a.s.l.) and transfer to your hotel, where you can rest for a few hours.

15h00: You will start your visit to the canyon in private transport. During the tour, you will explore the towns of Taurisma, where you can see the suspension bridge over the Cotahuasi River; Alca, with its church and colonial houses with typical balconies; and Ccalla, where Inca remains are found. Along the route, you will admire the fauna and flora with periodic stops to enjoy the scenery.

18:00: If you wish, you can relax in the Luicho hot springs, considered the best in the region, at a temperature of 38°C.

09h00You will return to Cotahuasi for dinner

Day 8 / Cotahuasi – Sipia Waterfalls – Judiopampa – Velinga – Discovery Of Wine And Fruits From The Valleys Of Peru.

06h30: You will take a public minibus to head deep into your excursion to Cotahuasi, in the Colcan countryside. You will begin a 4-hour hike through the canyon, passing by the Sipia waterfall and the picturesque villages of Chaupo and Rosariopampa. You will arrive at the Judiopampa Cactus Forest, where you will find most of the columnar cacti (Rahuia weberbaueri) that reach up to 10 meters in height.

13h00: Arrival in Velinga, a village with houses built of stone, clay, wood and reeds. There you will have lunch and have time to rest.

You can enjoy the afternoon exploring this fertile valley, which is home to more than 40 different varieties of fruits. You will also find an eco museum dedicated to wine and pisco.

House:
Day 9 / Velinga – Cotahuasi – Arequipa – The Best Cheeses In Peru.

08h00: You will start the journey back to Cotahuasi and then to Arequipa.

12h30: Arrival in Chuquibamba, an ideal place to taste some of the best cheeses in Peru. There you can enjoy lunch before continuing to Arequipa.

4:30 p.m.: Departure to Arequipa. The trip will take approximately 10 and a half hours.

Upon arrival, you will settle into your hotel.

House:
Day 10 / Arequipa – cooking class with Yerthy – Peruvian cooking school.

09h00: Departure to the typical market of Tiabaya.

09h15 - 11:00: You will shop for fruits, vegetables and other ingredients to cook a delicious typical dish chosen in advance, with the help of Yerthy. Your host will guide you to discover and taste various fruits from the various market stalls.

11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: You will participate in a cooking workshop, where you will prepare a special dish that represents the Arequipa region.

13h00: You will taste the dish that you prepared yourself during the workshop.

You'll have the rest of the day free to explore at your own pace.

7:00 p.m.: Free dinner.

Day 11 / Flight Arequipa - Cusco – tasting of hot drinks from Peru Teas of different herbs

According to the time of your flight, your driver will pick you up at your accommodation, to take you to the airport, from where you will take your flight to the imperial city of Cusco. Upon arrival in the Inca capital, your private driver will meet you to take you to your inhabitant home.

Lunch and free afternoon to acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco.

At the end of the day, you will enjoy dinner with the family of the inhabitant's house.

Night at the resident's house.

Day 12 / City of Cusco - Visit to the Hijos de los Apus association. – Tasting of a Cusco specialty. Rocoto Relleno (sufuffled) / Lechón -

09:00: Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and you will start the solidarity visit to the association "Hijos de los Apus", which works in the education of children from the most disadvantaged hills of Cusco. The founder of this organization will be happy to accompany you and show you the Peruvian way of life. You will take public transportation to the top of the hill located in the Alto Qosqo sector.

Once in Alto Qosco, you will share unforgettable moments with the children of the association, playing soccer, painting, drawing, dancing and singing, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the city of Cusco.

12h00: You will share lunch with the children. The cost of this activity goes entirely to the solidarity project for the purchase of educational material and for the food that is prepared with the children that day.

1:30 p.m.: Return to the city center by public transport.

14h00: Arrival at the city center, still accompanied by your guide, and beginning of the cultural visit of Cusco. You will see the Qoricancha museum,  it is a space that pays homage to the historical and cultural legacy of the Incas, and then you will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, officially known as  the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, is one of the main architectural and religious attractions of Cusco, it houses an impressive collection of colonial art, including paintings from the Cusco School,  wooden sculptures and various decorative pieces, in the richly ornamented Baroque style.

3:30 p.m.: We go to explore the 4 ruins, located around the city of Cusco, which are:

Sacsayhuamán, This impressive fortress is built with huge blocks of stone.

Qenqo, is an archaeological complex that includes an amphitheater and an altar carved in rock.

Puca Pucara, This construction was a military drum or control center.

Tambomachay, also known as the Baths of the Inca,

18:30: End of the tour and return to your accommodation.

Day 13 / Valle Sacrée – Pachamanca – Aguas Calientes

After sharing breakfast, you will get ready to start the tour to the sacred valley.

07h00: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your accommodation, and you will start by visiting essential sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, very important for Inca agriculture and architecture. You will have the pleasure of discovering the sites of the weavers' village of Chinchero, the impressive salt flats of Maras managed by the families of the community, as well as the ancient Inca agricultural experimentation center  of Moray.

12h00: They will participate in the preparation of the recipe of an Inca specialty. La Pachamanca.

After tasting the exquisite lunch, you will continue with the visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo built during the Inca Pachacutec period and which was the site of fierce battles between the Incas and colonizers.

4:00 p.m.: After the tour in Ollantaytambo, you will take the train, the only means of transportation to reach the town of Aguas Calientes, which is located at the foot of Machu Picchu. The train with its large panoramic windows will allow you to enjoy a true spectacle of nature.

18h00: Arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes, where the hotel staff is waiting to welcome you and drive you to your accommodation.

Day 14 / Machupicchu – Cusco – Machupicchu Cocktail

05h00: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will take the public bus that will take you to the entrance gate to Machu Picchu (twenty minutes of travel). You leave at dawn to avoid the queues, arrive when the site opens, and watch the sunrise.

06h00: Entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu together with your guide. Get ready to discover the stories and legends of this mystical place. Perched at an altitude of 2,400 meters atop a hill overlooking the sacred valley, you will be captivated by the almost unreal spectacle of this ancient Inca  city that links the Machupicchu and Huayna Picchu mountains. You will have free time to wander around this energetic place.

11:30 a.m.: Return by bus to Aguas Calientes after having fully enjoyed Machu Picchu.

Free lunch before picking up your belongings at the hotel.

2:30 p.m.: Return by train to the town of Ollantaytambo.

14h30: Return by train from Aguas Calientes station to Ollantaytambo station, then you will board the train company bus, which will transport you from Ollantaytambo to your hotel in Cusco.

18h00: Arrival at your hotel, you will have one last night in Cusco to see the nightlife of this magnificent city, which was the capital of the Inca empire and abounds in architectural and cultural wonders.

Dinner and overnight in your guest room.

Day 15 / Cuzco - Lima

Morning free to enjoy your last moments in this magnificent city.

Lunch at own expense.

According to your flight time, your driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Cusco airport.

At the airport in Lima, your driver will be waiting for you, to take you to your charming hotel in the Miraflores district.

Dinner at your leisure.

You can do your last shopping for handicrafts and other Peruvian souvenirs.

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel, according to your flight schedule for the return to your last destination (four hours before the departure of your plane).
