Day 1 / Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival at Lima Airport, you will be greeted by Javier, your driver, who will take you to your accommodation located in the Mriraflores district. Javier will give you a pouch with the necessary documents for your trip and a mobile phone chip that you will have to insert into your mobile phone in order to maintain communication with your agent.

We leave Huaraz and you will be picked up at 7:00 am, before having a typical breakfast, consisting of "Papa Cashqui", a tasty soup made with potatoes, cheese and aromatic herbs, accompanied by coca tea and country bread.

In Canrey Chico, at 3400 m above sea level, there is the Experimental Llama Breeding Center, from where we start our hike in the company of the guide and the llama breeders who lead the llamas. When we arrived at "Azulwanka", we performed the Andean ritual of payment to the "Pachamama", with coca leaves, and the offering of the "Kintus" to the "Wankà".

The offering is made by the llameros and the local guide, with the participation of the guests, to evoke their wishes to the powers of the "sacred leaf" and share them with the "Hirkas" - the spirits of the mountains. The camp is located in Tsacracancha (4,100 m.) where you will enjoy an Andean dinner, with Andean stories.

Day 5 / Llama Trek Huaraz - Day 2

Our hike continues on the pre-Inca trail, from "PampaWayi" the cobblestones of the thousand-year-old road, built at the time of the development of the Chavín culture, are more visible; and we climb to the Yanashallash pass (4700 m.), the highest point of the circuit. In the "Paso", we will share the offerings of the "llameros" in the "Chokus". By a winding and ancient road, we descend to Shongopampa camp (4150 m.).

Third day

Before arriving in Chichucancha, one of the Andean communities that preserve their ancestral traditions in their Inka-style houses, it is interesting to stop to see the snow-capped "Huantsan" (6366 m.), the Hirka of the Andean Cosmo Vision, which gives rise to the Quebrada Huacheksa, where we descend to Chavín de Huantar. Day 8 / Arequipa - Colca Canyon

thank you for bringing all your belongings to the Valle del Colca, thank you also for bringing a small backpack for the walk at the bottom of the canyon.

07:00 You will leave by private transport for two days to discover the deepest canyon in the world (4100 meters) in the company of your English-speaking guide Edison. Day 9 / Trek Caynon de Colca: Cross of the Condor - Sangalle

06:00 Breakfast.

07:00 You will leave with Clorinda to San Miguel (3280 msnm). You will start a walk down to the caynon (duration of the walk = 3h30min).

Around 11:30 am, arrive at the first "suspension bridge" where you will rest. You will continue the walk for 10 minutes to the community "San Juan de Chuccho". After lunch, you will continue the walk to the villages of Malata y Cosñirhua (you can buy fruit and water) 3 hours walk

Day 10 / Colca Canyon Trek: Sangalle - Cabanaconde - Chivay and bus to Lake Titicaca

04:30 Start of the uphill walk for 3:30 with Clorinda. Around 8:30 am arrive at the village of Cabanaconde for breakfast here you will pick up your suitcases. Then you will visit "La Cruz del Condor", you will have free time to contemplate the flight of the "condors" and the landscape.

12:00 Lunch and then you will leave for the meeting point to take the bus to Puno.

1:00 pm: Departure of the Nativa trips bus to Puno.      You will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. You will have to get off before the bus terminus, in the town of Juliaca. Your driver will be waiting for you to take you to LLachón.

Day 11 / PADDLING IN THE REEDS

Lake Titicaca has more than 60 species of birds, in our totora reeds we can observe 6 to 7 species in their natural habitat in the middle of the reeds.

We sail in our small motorboat and paddle in the waters of Titicaca and among the cattails enjoying the flora and fauna, this excursion lasts about 3 hours.

The venture starts after breakfast at Salvador's house, then we will sail on Lake Titikaka through different natural areas looking for local birds.

Around noon return to the mison of Salvador.

One of the magical places to enjoy a sunset in the warmth of our campfire while enjoying some of our snacks is the shore of Lake Titicaca, a place where you can meditate, rest, relax and above all connect with nature watching the sunset on the horizon of Titicaca.

Day 12 / Lake Titicaca: Uros and Taquile Islands

After breakfast, 08:00

Departure by boat to the floating islands "Uros" to meet the locals. After being greeted by the locals in traditional dress, you will learn how they make these islands from reeds in the traditional way, visit the houses, and discover the local crafts.

You will then sail again to go to the island of Taquile. Beyond the beauty of the landscapes offered by the island, the turquoise waters with the Andes in the background, the discovery of Taquile also has a cultural dimension: the textiles made on this island have been declared "Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. You'll learn about ancient weaving methods as well as traditional dances, and then have lunch with a family.

Day 13 / Puno - La Paz: On the way to Bolivia

After breakfast, a private vehicle will take you to the Bolivian border, in Copacabana. You will then be taken care of by Jorge, our local partner and his team, who will be happy to help you discover the charms of Bolivia.

During the journey to La Paz, which lasts about 6 hours, you will admire the landscapes of Lake Titicaca, and will even have to cross it with your vehicle thanks to a system of barges.

Day 21 / Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo

09:00 AM: Your driver and guide will pick you up after breakfast. You will discover 3 must-see sites of the Sacred Valley:

You will start with the Moray site: it was an agricultural laboratory where the Incas experimented and developed their mastery of agriculture at altitude. The circular terraces of the site are very well preserved and demonstrate the great adaptability of the Inca people.

We'll then go to the Maras salt flats, one of the most surprising places in the Valley. These are cliffs on which terraces have been built to harvest salt. The salt pans are still exploited today by the inhabitants of the neighbouring village.

Day 23 / Palcoyo: The Other Mountain of the 7 Colors

At 5:00 am, a manager from the agency will pick you up at your place of accommodation to discover Palcoyo: a place that is an alternative to the Vinicunca Mountain, also known as the Mountain of 7 Colors.

Palcoyo presents the same type of landscapes: mountains with colorful strata, but also a "stone forest" (rock formations that are reminiscent of trees). In addition, on the way we can make a stop in Checacupe, a small Andean village known for its 2 bridges: the colonial bridge which was built by the Spanish in the seventeenth century and the Inca bridge, which the inhabitants keep intact thanks to the transmission of an ancestral know-how which consists of braiding straw until a sufficiently strong rope is obtained.

You will cross the South Valley to arrive at the community of Palcoyo (3300 m), after about 4 hours of driving. We'll have a good breakfast to gain our strength, before returning to the starting point of your hike.

After about 1 hour of walking, we'll reach the summit where we'll have the necessary time to make friends and admire this incredible phenomenon of nature. Then you will descend for about 45 minutes. Finally, we'll find your transport that will take us back to Cusco.
